Al-ahleia switchgear company was established in the year 1982 with the aim of manufacturing various types of electrical equipment in the state of Kuwait. Al-ahleia, with its expertise and team of highly qualified engineers, achieved the goal of manufacturing different types of electrical equipment as listed under products&services.

"al-ahleia" products are mainly designed in accordance with the IEC/bs specification and customers' requirements. Al-ahleia is well-equipped with computer aided design(cad)facility to undertake tailor made job.

"al-ahleia" is the only company in g. C. C. Countries, who has developed its own 33/12kv vacuum circuit breakers and sf6 ring main units that are supplied to various customers.

"al-ahleia" h. V. Switchgear, L. V. Products, current transformers, etc.. Have been fully tested at international laboratories such as kema - holland and asta - u. K. And witnessed by cesi - Italy.

"al-ahleia" factories are well-equipped with latest and sophisticated engineering practices/machines(includingcnc machines&latest software) and are fully geared to design, manufacture and supply electrical equipment with its scope of manufacture. Al-ahleia has seven factories with working space of 37000 sq. Metre and its expansion programme continues.

"al-ahleia's" quality system has been certified meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2000.

"al-ahleia" has supplied(andis supplying) hv/L. V. Switchgears in addition to double busbar switchgears, custom built package type sub-stations, relay control panels and data acquisition systems to the ministry of energy and different customers viz. Ministry of information, ministry of defence, ministry of health, ministry of public works, public authority for housing welfare, Kuwait university, Kuwait oil company, Kuwait national petroleum Co., saudi arabian texaco INC. Etc. In addition to international contractors viz. Hyundai engineering&construction co. - korea, daelim industrial co. Ltd. - korea, sk engineering&construction ltd. - korea, toshiba corporation - Japan, hitachi limited - Japan, mitsubishi electric - Japan, transelektro Italy which are working satisfactorily under the severe climatic conditions prevalent in this part of the world(stateof kuwait).
